This Top Load Washer Agitator Repair Kit should be used when the top part of the agitator is not moving properly but the bottom still functions correctly. This repair kit includes (4) agitator dogs, (1) medium length cam, (1) cap seal, (1) washer for the agitator bolt and (1) thrust washer. We recommend using a small amount of grease (item 350849) with this kit if no grease is present on the old thrust washer. Replacing this part will require basic tools, some disassembly of the washing machine and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off your hot and cold water supplies. Helpful Tip: Also consider replacing the bolt (item 539455) and getting a spare set of dog ears (item 3109). The bolt can get corroded and the dog ears wear out over time.
