This Top Load Washer Agitator Cam Repair Kit should be used if the upper section of the agitator isn't turning properly. This repair kit includes (4) directional cogs (or dog ears) and (1) cam. Pre-assemble the repair kit before installing in the agitator. Make sure you install the dog ears with the curve of the cam. We recommend using a small amount of grease (item 350849) with this kit if no grease is present on the old thrust washer. Replacing this part will require basic tools, some disassembly of the washing machine and novice repair experience. Helpful Tip: We also recommend using affresh??½ Washing Machine Cleaner (item W10501250) once a month to help reduce odor-causing residue that can build up in your washing machine's drain without proper care. *affresh??½ brand products are owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation.
