The Gas Dryer Igniter Kit is a flat-style igniter assembly that can be used to replace both a round or flat igniter in your appliance. This kit includes (1) ignitor assembly, (1) bracket, (2) wire nuts and (1) mounting screw. Note that the igniter is very fragile and must be handled with care. Replacing this assembly will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dryer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Note that you cannot touch the grey part of the igniter; only handle the igniter by its white plastic covering. Helpful Tip: While the dryer is disassembled, consider replacing the gas valve coils (item 3479) as well.
