The Refrigerator Emitter Cover is located in the top left portion of the freezer and shields the emitter control board while housing the flipper cover for the emitter board. The flipper cover isn't included with the emitter cover and must be ordered separately if needed. On the backside of the emitter assembly, there is a pin you'll have to remove. Use a small flat blade screwdriver to pry off the retaining clip and remove the pin. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. You must unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the refrigerator before installing this part.
