Product Description
The Dishwasher Insulation Shield helps keep the noise level in your kitchen to a minimum. In order to access the insulation, you'll need to pull the dishwasher out of the cabinet. You'll first disconnect the fill line and the drain hose underneath your sink. Then remove the screws that hold the dishwasher to the cabinet and pull the dishwasher out. You'll then use a pair of needle nose pliers to remove the rivets holding the old insulation, making sure to keep the rivets so you can re-use them when installing the new insulation. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, but no disassembly or repair experience. Remember to unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off the dishwasher's water supply below the sink. Helpful Tip: We also recommend using affresh?« Dishwasher Cleaner (item W10282479) to help remove limescale and mineral build-up that can be unsightly and affect your dishwashers performance. *affresh?« brand products are owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation.
