This Top Load Washer Washplate is located in the bottom of the spin basket and turns back and forth to fully circulate laundry through the water during the cleaning cycle.If your washer isnt spinning properly and begins making an unusual noise, the washplate may need to be replaced. Installing this part will require basic hand tools and disassembly of the washer. Previous repair experience will be helpful when completing this repair. You must unplug the washer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also be sure to shut off the hot and cold water supplies.
