These Washing Machine Inlet Hose Screens measure 1" diameter each and prevent leaks between the fill valve and hose connection. The screens also capture debris that could clog the water valve during the washing cycle. This universal accessory is compatible with most washing machine brands and models and will be needed if your washers current hose screens are damaged and no longer functional. This kit contains (4) rubber o-rings and (4) metal screens. Installing this accessory will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washing machine and novice repair experience. The installation will take approximately 45 minutes to complete. You must unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this accessory. Also make sure you turn off your hot and cold water supplies.
