The SxS Refrigerator Water Filter Housing is a grey plastic part that surrounds and protects the appliances water filter. To access the part, pull the toe kick free from the front of the appliance. This part has two push-in fittings, one 1/4" fitting and 5/16" one, allowing you to push the plastic tubing water lines directly into the housing for easy installation. Simply push down on the rings near the tubing to release the old lines. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and intermediate repair experience. You must unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also turn off the refrigerators water supply before you begin.
