The SxS Refrigerator Water Inlet Valve allows water to enter the refrigerators water dispenser and ice maker. The package includes a new water valve, instructions, ??-in tubing and a plastic ??-in coupler. If your appliance isn't dispensing ice or water properly, replacing this part may alleviate these issues. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. You must unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also turn off the refrigerator's water supply before you begin. Helpful Tip: Some refrigerator models also require a separate connection fitting (Tubing Coupler, item 2119001).
