The SxS Refrigerator Evaporator Motor with Fan helps circulate cold air from the freezer into the fresh food compartment for sufficient cooling. This assembly includes (1) fan motor, (2) mounting grommets, (2) sleeves, (2) screws and (1) push-on fan. Note that when the evaporator fan fails, it often generates a lot of noise in the freezer area. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and intermediate repair experience. You must unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
