The Top Load Washer Suspension Pad Set attaches to the base above the suspension plate and reduces wear and damage caused by metal-to-metal contact. The set includes all three base pads. If a washer tub pad is worn, the washing machine may become unbalanced and will vibrate or shake during the spin cycle. To access the suspension pads, remove the control panel of your washer and remove the bolt from the frame of the washer. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, disassembly of the washer and novice repair experience. Remember to unplug the washer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off the hot and cold water supplies.
