The SxS Refrigerator Ice Maker Assembly receives water from the water inlet, holds the water in the ice mold until it freezes and then automatically ejects the ice and refills again until the ice storage bin is filled. This 10-cube replacement ice maker includes the housing and complete assembly, and is compatible with several refrigerator models with in-door ice and water dispensers. Installing the part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. You must unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also turn off the refrigerator's water supply before you begin. Note that this assembly does not include a bail arm; remove the bail arm from the existing ice maker to reuse with the new part.
