This Dryer Felt Drum Seal is located on the outside edge of the rear of the dryer drum. This seal needs to be replaced if your dryer is making an unusual noise during operation, if the dryer drum won't spin, if it takes too long to dry your clothes, or, if the dryer drum isn't producing enough heat. This seal comes with one tube of adhesive. When sealing the new felt seal, turn the drum on its side and rotate it while applying. Allow about 20 minutes for the adhesive to dry. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
