This Top Load Washer Agitator Assembly spins and agitates your clothes properly so they can be washed. The agitator is located in the center of the wash drum and is secured by (1) bolt with washer at its base. To secure the bolt into the new agitator before installing, turn the agitator upside down and put the new bolt in position. This assembly includes both the upper and lower parts of the agitator. Special shipping and handling is required for this item. Replacing this part will require basic tools, some disassembly of the washing machine and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off your hot and cold water supplies.
