Depending upon your model, you may not have the same terminal blocks and you may need to swap out your wires one at a time. This switch is for 6-inch burners (5.2- 6.6 amp). For 8" burners, use part WP3149400 at whirlpoolparts.com under item number 2786. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the range or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
