This Front Load Washer Shock Absorber prevents vibrations and movements of the outer wash tub during use. Your washer has 4 total shock absorbers -- 2 in the back and 2 in the front. Note that each shock absorber is sold separately. If your tub is shaking while in cycle, it may no longer be supported properly and one or more of these parts may need to be replaced. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also be sure to shut off the hot and cold water supplies.
