This Washer Drain Pump is a 2-port pump that removes waste water from your washer during the drain portion of the wash cycle. This assembly includes the drain pump and installation instructions. If your washer doesn??t drain properly the pump may be clogged, damaged or defective ??? replacing this part may alleviate the issue. Please note: This pump is used for washing machines that do not have a lint filter and do not automatically clean out the excess built up lint. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washing machine and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off the hot and cold water supplies. Helpful Tip: We also recommend using affresh??
