Split the smaller half of the new control board from the larger half and lock it into place in its housing. The new control board will need to programmed after installation to work properly. The code for programming the new board is located on the serial plate in the upper right corner of your refrigerator. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. You must unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part. Make sure to safely store any food before installing this part.
