This Front Load Washer Drive Pulley turns your washer drum with the belt, and causes your washer to spin properly during the washing cycle. If your washer pulley turns and the drum doesn't turn, this part may need to be replaced. This part attaches between the motor pulley and the drive pulley at the back of the appliance drum. To access the part, remove the hose snapped into the panel at the back of the machine and then remove the screws that hold the back panel in place. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. Remember to unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this item. Also be sure to turn off the hot and cold water supplies to your washer.
