Product Description
The Dryer Thermal Fuse shuts off the heating element when the dryer overheats. If your dryer has overheated and the thermal fuse blew cutting off power to the motor or the heating system, replacing this part may alleviate these issues. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dryer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Helpful tip: A bad fuse will have no continuity meaning the electrical path is broken. A multimeter can be used to test it for continuity.
