This Dryer Drum Belt circles the dryers drum and attaches it to the motor to create constant motion during the drying cycle. If your dryers motor is running but the drum isnt turning, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. This part features 4 grooves with 5 ribs. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part. Helpful Tip: While the dryer is disassembled, consider replacing the idler pulley (item WP6-3700340) as well.
