Product Description
The Dryer Heating Element generates the dryer's heat and is a replacement part for heating element coils that short out, causing your dryer to no longer produce the heat necessary to dry your clothes. If your dryer is not heating, first check for a blown thermal fuse on the blower housing before replacing the heating element. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dryer or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part. Helpful Tip: The heating element and many other parts can be tested using a volt/ohm meter which is a handy item to have in any do it yourselfers tool box.
