This Dryer Drive Motor Assembly turns the drive belt that spins the dryer drum. This is a new style motor switch for compatible dryers; note that the motor will need re-wiring. If your appliance stops turning during use, the dryer won't start, or the dryer drum won't turn at all, replacing this part may alleviate these issues. We strongly recommend that you hire a qualified technician to safely install this part. Replacing this part will require advanced mechanical training. Specialized tools, complex testing and appliance calibration may be required.
