Product Description
The Dishwasher Float rises as your dishwasher is filling with water. When it reaches a certain level, the float acts as a trigger for the float switch. The float triggers the switch to shut off, thereby shutting off the flow of water into the dishwasher. If water isn't entering your dishwasher, or if your dishwasher overflows, the float switch may need to be replaced. This kit includes the switch, lever, seal and standpipe. To access the part, you may want to remove the dishwasher from under the counter so you have more room for the repair. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dishwasher and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part. You should also shut off the dishwasher's water supply underneath the sink before replacing this part. Helpful Tip: We also recommend using affresh??½ Dishwasher Cleaner (item W10282479) to help remove limescale and mineral build-up that can be unsightly and affect your dishwasher??ås performance.
