Product Description
This Dishwasher Pump Impeller Kit is a rebuild for the pump in your dishwasher. If your pump is damaged and you aren't getting any water pressure, or the water seal is damaged and water is draining outside of the dishwasher, this part may need to be replaced. Remove the lower rack of your dishwasher and take out the spray arm nut by turning it counter-clockwise to access the part. When removing the old gasket, be sure to clean out any left behind residue. This kit includes the drain & wash impeller, pump seal, chopper, spacer, water seal, spring, hold down bolt, and instruction sheet. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dishwasher and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off the dishwasher's hot and cold water supplies underneath the sink. Helpful Tip: We also recommend using affresh??½ Dishwasher Cleaner (item W10282479) to help remove limescale and mineral build-up that can be unsightly and affect your dishwasher??ås performance. *affresh??½ brand products are owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation.
