Product Description
This Washer Direct Drive Coupling is located between the motor and transmission of your washer, behind your washer's control panel (which varies by model). The Coupling is comprised of two plastic coupler pieces and the center rubber isolator piece. The main reason for replacing this part occurs when a coupler piece cracks on the motor shaft, a leg breaks off, or the center isolator starts to deteriorate. This part replaces all previous versions. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washer and novice repair experience. You should unplug the washer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off your hot and cold water supplies.
