This Washer Syphon Break Elbow Kit with Clamp may fix a washing machine that is either leaking or will not drain. This elbow drain pipe is intended to fit onto a 7/8" drain hose. To access the part, you'll remove the fill hoses from the back of the machine and then remove the back access panel. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washing machine and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off the hot and cold water supplies.
