This SxS Refrigerator Ice Auger Motor drives the auger in the ice bucket and pushes the ice cubes through the dispenser chute. When removing the old motor, be sure to support it when releasing the last screw. The design of the new Auger Motor has been slightly altered to include a washer that stretches over the drive shaft. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
