The SxS Refrigerator Water Inlet Valve Assembly allows water to enter the refrigerator??ås water dispenser and ice maker. If water is leaking from your refrigerator or no water is dispensing at all, this part may need to be replaced. This is a dual water inlet valve with ??" compression inlet fittings and quick-connection outlets. Remove the cardboard back from the bottom of the refrigerator to access this part and be sure to place down a towel to catch any dripping water. If the original part has screw on compression fittings, cut the tubes from the nuts and gently push them into the quick-connection ports of the new valves. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. You must unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also, be sure to turn off the refrigerator??ås water supply.
