Product Description
The Top Load Washer Base Pad Set attaches to the base above the suspension plate and reduces wear and damage caused by metal-to-metal contact. The set includes all three base pads. If a washer tub pad is worn, the washing machine may become unbalanced and will vibrate or shake during the spin cycle. To access the suspension pads, remove the control panel of your washer and remove the boot from the frame of the washer. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washer and novice repair experience. Remember to unplug the washer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off your hot and cold water supplies. Recommended Item: The appliance's Repair Manual (item 4313896) is a useful reference when replacing this part. Helpful Tip: We also recommend using affresh??½ Washing Machine Cleaner (item W10501250) once a month to help reduce odor-causing residue that can build up in your washing machine's drain without proper care. *affresh??½ brand products are owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation.
